Your first croissant looks amazing!
The internal texture shows a beautifully executed puff pastry with well-defined and airy layers, which is difficult to achieve on the first try. Additionally, the presentation with the chocolate on top makes it even more enticing.
Definitely an excellent start to making croissants!

Debora, that’s awesome! I’m trying to make my first croissants this week as well. I’m on the final rest and tomorrow I’ll shape into the rolls (and rest again 😅). Did you roll by hand or have a dough sheeter? I’m resting between folds but I’m still finding the gluten development past the second fold to be tricky – even with long rests, it’s springing back. I’m working by hand with a rolling pin so I wonder if that’s the issue.
