          @Sussan Estela Olaya The secret lies in a combination of high temperature for a crispy crust and a juicy filling that isn’t overcooked before stuffing. A bit of broth or tomato sauce keeps the filling moist, and towards the end of baking, I add a topping to keep the peppers tender inside while achieving the perfect texture on the outside.

            When it comes to the filling, I experimented with textures—lightly toasting the rice before adding it gives it a deeper, nutty note and allows it to absorb the juices more evenly. However, since this is a traditional recipe often made in Serbia, I aimed to preserve its authentic preparation without too much experimentation.

            As for the salad, I opted for a classic version—fresh tomatoes with a bit of salt and oil, to refresh and balance the stuffed peppers without adding extra layers of acidity.
