About half way through the food photography with a smartphone course and already learnt so many great tips and tricks. I didn’t plan anything amazing to eat tonight but took a few snaps of the curry I made and really pleased with the result. Not even gotten to editing yet!

That curry looks amazing! It’s great to see you applying what you’ve learned in the course because the photo already conveys warmth and a dish full of flavor.
For your next session, you could try adding some props to enhance that cozy, home-cooked feel,a wooden spoon in the frame, a rustic bowl for a close-up shot, or a bit of rice on the side for contrast. Though honestly, with that vibrant color, the curry already steals the spotlight. It’s going to look fantastic once you edit it—I can’t wait to see your photos!
