Hi everyone, I’ve been a bit absent lately due to being very busy with work, studies, and various challenges. One of my major interests currently is preparing for the cooking exam. We’re required to cook a 4-course menu in 3.5 hours, with an additional 30 minutes for preparation.

On Wednesday, I tested the first menu, which included:

      – Waldorf salad

      – ConsommĂ© with millet dumplings

      – Stuffed chicken thigh with mixed vegetables steamed in butter

      – Gundel palacsinta

It’s quite a complex menu, but I’m happy to be ready for it. Tomorrow, I’ll be testing the second out of the four 4-course menus that could be asked by the board during the exam.

Oh, “The Plating”, “The Plating”… 😍 I’m sure you’ll leave everybody totally astonished. Best of lucks to you, Orsi! My top choice would be the palacsinta. It’s cute, accurate, colorful, and simple at the same time.

Wow! It’s so impressive! It’s all about creativity: the mixing taste, the texture, the colors and the most beautiful thing: the plating technique. I have no doubt that you will nail it. Congratulations!
