The end of summer in Hungary is all about tomatoes and peppers, so yesterday, I prepared Lecsó (letcho) made with onions, tomatoes, and yellow peppers. To give it a beautiful, vivid red color, we use paprika (the sweet kind 🌶).
Do you use paprika? Sweet or spicy?

We’ve got both. Love them.
I’m not allowed to use them whilst cooking. I’m a little heavy handed. 🤣

Yum! I use paprika a lot. Have the same problem as Cary with my husband 😅 I tend to get overpaprikated when he cooks

@Sol Damiani we tend to overpaprikate, too… this Word makes me crazy… seeing a Hungarian Word incorporated in an English one is TOP for my soul, @Sol. 😀😀😀😀

Your result looks delicious.
I usually use both sweet and spicy paprika. I tend to add sweet paprika to some vegetable soups, and I love adding spicy paprika when I prepare a stew or meat dish.
Thanks for sharing.
Best regards.

I love peppers and paprika. Your dish looks warming and comforting. Smoked paprika is my favourite, it somehow makes dishes taste meaty.

I live in Spain so I use smoked paprika, sweet or spicy or a combination.
