      On the plate, a gastronomic drama unfolds in multiple acts, with each ingredient playing its role with the precision of a seasoned director. 🎥 Following chef Chema Soler’s recipe and after 12 hours of patient waiting, the mushroom croquettes finally take center stage, ready to conquer the palate with a lavish combination of flavors and textures.

      The main protagonist—the mushroom croquette—is tender and creamy on the inside, further enriched with a touch of Greek feta cheese, because mushrooms alone shouldn’t have to endure this gastronomic thriller without a bit of extra character.

      To prevent them from being too soft and fragile, the croquettes are then coated in a shield of crispy corn flakes, rebellious poppy seeds, and panko breadcrumbs—a perfect combination for those who crave a crunchy first impression and a lingering gastronomic aftertaste.

      Alongside the croquettes, sautéed onions, carrots, and mushrooms take the stage, passionately blending their juices in the pan. As the crown of this gastronomic epic, a touch of the Mediterranean graces the plate. Blanched Swiss chard with garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice brings the perfect contrast of freshness and acidity, balancing the richness of flavors and adding that final refreshing note that makes the dish complete. And for the finishing touch—a sprinkle of fine Parmesan, whose subtle notes add the last layer of character to this plate.

      This dish has undergone a long process—chilling, breading, and sautéing—each step adding a new dimension and depth. Like a hero who has endured all challenges, it now proudly stands on the plate, ready to win you over with just one bite.

                    Enhorabuena, Lana. Esas croquetas son, sencillamente, gloriosas. Cremosas, con un rebozado perfecto, un acompañamiento original y delicioso… ¡un 10!! Y bueno, las fotografías son preciosas e inspiradoras.
                    Ahora bien… en esta historia cinematográfica que nos narras, ¿estás segura de que la película que protagonizan no es de terror, concretamente ‘El exorcista’? …porque empiezo a pensar que has sido poseída por el auténtico espíritu croquetil 😝

                      As for the movie, you might be right – maybe there’s a hidden horror element, but trust me, in this story it’s definitely not just about an exorcism, but a real battle with something much more dangerous – too much flavor and perfect texture! 😄 And as for the croquetil spirit, he greets you and says he’s moving into my home permanently. 😂
