That first croissant turned out awesome! It has such a fun shape,like it’s wrapping itself up in its own dough. I really like how the contrast shows between the golden baked parts and the lighter layers,you did a great job rolling it up.

Quick question: how did the proofing go? Did you notice if the dough rose well before baking? That can make all the difference in how soft and fluffy it turns out inside.

One tip: if you want a more even golden color next time, you could try brushing them with a bit of beaten egg right before baking. But for a first try—seriously, it’s a win!
