This is when I’m excited to capture the moment after whipping up a delicious dinner for my patient and loving family. I’m grateful for their calm wait as I put together this oven-fried square filled with savory meat and accompanied by my homemade ajvar sauce. Moments like these remind me of the simple joys of cooking for those who mean the most.

This is just a simple squash (grown in our garden last summer and conserved in fantastic condition!) stuffed with turkey and ajvar I made at home. 🙂 By the way, those small dots on the plate are oven-baked vegetable demi-glace I learned to make on Scoolinary. 🙂 I enhanced the ajvar with the same demi-glace, which added a fantastic flavour. 😃
