    Hi @sahmini-sandra-lingam

The content team informs me that the video lesson on the airbrush technique has just been added in chapter 6. Could you please check and tell me that you can watch the lesson?

I remain attentive to your response.

    Greetings.

    Hi Sanmini

Below we explain in detail how to make the mixture to paint with the airbrush.

Although this explanation is not on video, you have all the information here.

To paint with a pastry airbrush using powdered colorant and alcohol, the following proportions are generally followed:

    1. Powdered Colorant: The amount of powdered colorant can vary depending on the intensity of the color you want. A good starting reference is to use one teaspoon of powdered colorant.

    2. Alcohol: Alcohol is used to dilute the powdered colorant. The typical ratio is about 2 to 3 teaspoons of alcohol for every teaspoon of powdered colorant. The alcohol evaporates quickly and does not affect the final taste of the product.

So, a common ratio would be:

    – 1 teaspoon of powdered colorant.

    – 2 to 3 teaspoons of alcohol (such as vodka or food-grade ethanol).

Mix well until you achieve a homogeneous solution. You can adjust the amount of alcohol according to the consistency you need for your airbrush. If the mixture is too thick, add more alcohol; if it’s too thin, add more powdered colorant.

    Greetings.

        Hi Sanmini

You can use whatever brand of alcohol/vodka you find most available or you can look for “Absolut” brand vodka.

        Greetings.
