Some days, I find myself feeling a bit emotional. 🥰 Those are usually the days when I miss Italy and the Italians around me. 🇮🇹 My brain—and especially my heart—switch to Italian mode, making me more sensitive to anything Italian.

This evening, these fantastic meatballs—Polpette al pomodoro—with caramelized onion inside and fresh basil in the tomato sauce, gently guided me through my nostalgia for my beloved Italy.
