My first attempt at making Shrimp Ha Gao paired with the beautiful Brazilian beer Leopoldina Italian Grape Chardonnay ☺🤩.

This beer is made with Chardonnay grape must – and goes through a second refermentation in the bottle. It has a very elegant profile and consequently goes well with the shrimp in the Ha Gao filling which is quite delicate and tasty. Furthermore the base style of the beer is Saison – a very spicy and fruity style – which complements the flavors of the dish.
In fact, I teach about beers and food pairing 😉
