I’m on my way to becoming a real pastry chef, and I’m so excited to share my first attempt! These are Isler—butter biscuits filled with my homemade strawberry jam, covered in dark chocolate, and decorated with roasted almonds.
Honestly, I had no idea my friends, relatives, and even neighbors had such sweet tooths!
I always share my creations on my Facebook story, and you wouldn’t believe how many people have messaged me, letting me know they live nearby… just in case I need practice, they’re always available for a taste test! 😁😁PS: take a look at my special green-white mint leaves 🍃 💚🤍

That looks delicious; they are very similar to the finish of Santa Fe Argentine alfajores. 😍
Thank you for sharing with us.

We all want to be your neighbours! These cuties resemble a lot our local alfajores. (Have you seen Herreras’s Course yet?) Looooovely plating as always. Those little white and green mints give such a special touch/contrast to the brownish capes 😻 Is there a chance we can see the cut of one of them? Or have they all flew away?😆

@soldamiani Well, I’m sure I’ll make them soon again… as there is a very special variety of Isler in a small area of Hungary and I definitely want to prepare them and share their history, too. Once, I’ll be done with, I’ll cut at least one to show you how they look like inside…. these ones have already been “consumed”. 🙂
