I think I’m becoming a sablĂ© fan.
Especially now that spring is definitely on its way and our garden is waking up.
Let me share some photos I’ve taken in our garden and kitchen.
The beauty of the first flowers and herbs inspired me to make sablĂ© bites with freshly harvested chives and wild garlic.🌱🌿
For decoration, I used just a shiny marigold flower. 🌼 Sometimes, we don’t need any special tricks… natural is better 🫠🫠

That mix of garden flavors with the savory sablé base sounds like a bite that could wake up even the sleepiest mood. The marigold flower gives it a visual pop that doesn’t need anything else, just pure color and freshness. You can tell there’s a lot of care and thought behind that simplicity—not everyone can pull that off!
Have you ever tried adding a little citrus zest or a pinch of mustard powder to the dough to boost the herb flavors even more?
Big applause for such a creative and vibrant way to serve spring in a bite! 🐝💐✨
