Yikes, I ran out of time to participate in the #LocalFlavorsChallenge! This is what I had planned to make: New England clam chowder, which is so typical of coastal Maine that there’s a brand named after my home town. It’s made with onions, celery, potatoes, bacon, cream, and clams, and it’s served with oyster crackers (look them up). New…

Hi @wendyscoolinary-com ☺ You still have a few hours to join. (Until 12 p.m. European time to participate.) Your planned dish sounds absolutely delicious and quintessentially New England. 🙌The combination of onions, celery, potatoes, bacon, cream, and clams sounds like a heavenly mix of flavors. 😋🌋And those oyster crackers – definitely a…

“Looks aren’t everything” smoked paprika and cayenne macarons filled with goat cheese cream and a tiny dollop of homemade pancetta jam. Inspired by #MarioSandoval (recipe) and #DamienWager, who suggested in his “Coffee with Scoolinary” podcast episode that a better place to start would be with a recipe from his other #Scoolinary course,…

The queen of tips @wendyscoolinary-com 👑 Thanks for the advice. I haven’t tried making macarons yet and they say it’s pretty tough, isn’t it?

Masala peanuts from Anjalina Chugani’s “Indian Party” course with just one tweak – dried, ground lemon peel instead of amchur (next time!) #SpicesChallenge

Inspired by Mason Hereford’s “Not Yo Mama’s Peanut Butter Bacon-Burger,” (which sounds quite the opposite of healthy), I adapted this with all plant-based ingredients (homemade “bacon” from vital wheat gluten and plant-based burger). Definitely didn’t taste like a fake, I’d make this again (and add more peanut butter!)
