And in the interest of celebrating our mess-ups too, these are the ones I filled with a salted rum caramel and toasted pecans. Same batch of dough but unfortunately they loosened in the oven and the filling seeped out, probably due to the sticky nature of the caramel. I guess the universe didn’t want me to make too adult a cookie! #CookieChallenge – Tasted good but boy were these challenging to look at!

Even if they spread in the oven, the combination of rum, salted caramel, and toasted pecans sounds amazing,definitely a flavor worth repeating!
If you want them to hold their shape better, you could try chilling the dough well before baking or thickening the caramel a bit so it doesn’t leak out as easily.
