      Story about „The Scarlet Embrace

      When I began creating this dish, I wasn’t just looking for flavor. I wanted a feeling. Something that would linger in memory long after the plate was empty. That’s how the idea of an embrace was born—not just any embrace, but a fiery, tender, and rich one: The Scarlet Embrace.

      Salmon, the king of the northern waters, plays the heart in this dish—strong, pure, but vulnerable. To shine, it doesn’t need to be hidden—it needs to be revealed. So I chose to wrap it in something creamy—not white and heavy, but vibrant, spiced with roasted red pepper and fresh baby spinach. That sauce isn’t a mask. It’s a love letter.

      The most challenging part?
      Finding the perfect balance. Red pepper is proud. If you don’t tame it, it will dominate. But if you gently roast it and let it release its natural sweetness—it becomes a subtle fire, a foundation, not a rival. Spinach, on the other hand, needs tenderness. One second too long in the pan, and it loses its color, its soul. It took many tries before they found their perfect rhythm.

      And the part I loved the most?
      It was that moment when the flavors finally met—truly met. When the freshly seared salmon with its crispy skin landed on the plate and touched the warm red pepper and spinach cream for the first time. I didn’t rush. I just watched as the heat of the sauce slowly spread, as if it were actually hugging the fish.

      I walked into this dish with an idea, but without certainty—I allowed myself to experiment, to pair ingredients I had never combined quite like this before. The creamy roasted red pepper and spinach sauce turned out to be a quiet triumph—delicate yet rich, with a depth that only came alive in harmony with the salmon.

      That day, everyone who had the chance to taste The Scarlet Embrace was enchanted. Some asked for more. Others asked for the recipe. But all of them, in their own way, felt like they had experienced something truly special.

        Hey, great job with Scarlet Embrace! Just looking at the dish makes you want to dig in,that perfectly seared salmon next to the fluffy white rice feels like a promise of a comforting meal with a special twist. And that creamy sauce with roasted red peppers and spinach totally says, “this is not your average lunch.” It even looks like the salmon is taking a dip in a delicious pool of flavor!

        And the story behind the dish is awesome,wanting the flavor to feel like a hug was such a beautiful and creative idea. Have you tried making the same sauce with another protein? I bet it could be amazing with shrimp or even tofu for a veggie version.

          @sussan_scoolinaryteam Thank you so much for the lovely comment! 😊 I haven’t had the chance to try this sauce with other proteins yet, but I truly believe it has great potential—I can totally imagine it with shrimp, chicken, or even tofu for a lighter, vegan-friendly version. It has that comforting “hug” quality you so beautifully pointed out, and I think it could pair wonderfully in all sorts of combinations.             @Sol Damiani Thank you so much, Sol! Your words truly mean a lot, because you know that, for me, a plate is never just a plate.

            This salmon series has been both a small challenge and a great pleasure—I had a huge piece of salmon staring at me from the fridge as if to say, “Come on, show me what you’ve got.” So I listened.

            I created four versions, each with its own character, inspired by the people who would be eating them—some gentle, some fiery, some full of contrast, some like an ocean before a storm. The salmon was my canvas, and they were the muse. One more dish to go, and then I’m closing this little salmon saga.

            The next series will be a completely different story—a new ingredient, new energy, new characters. Each plate will, I hope, tell its own tale, just in a different language.

            P.S. You have to try this sauce, I’m still impressed. I even made another dish out of the leftovers #nowaste
