I think I’m becoming a sablĂ© fan.
Especially now that spring is definitely on its way and our garden is waking up.
Let me share some photos I’ve taken in our garden and kitchen.
The beauty of the first flowers and herbs inspired me to make sablĂ© bites with freshly harvested chives and wild garlic.🌱🌿
For decoration, I used just a shiny marigold… Read moreValentina Gurau, Maloles Muñoz and 6 othersView more comments-

That mix of garden flavors with the savory sablé base sounds like a bite that could wake up even the sleepiest mood. The marigold flower gives it a visual pop that doesn’t need anything else, just pure color and freshness. You can tell there’s a lot of care and thought behind that simplicity—not everyone can pull that off!

Today, I was feeling extremely creative, thanks to the fresh ricotta we bought at the market. It was quite a large portion, and I wanted to use it all.
I made ricotta pogácsa, a Hungarian linzer-based savory cookie—definitely a strong contender for the #cookiechallenge!
I also made ricotta ravioli, but I forgot to take pictures—can you… Read more-

Now that’s what I call making the most out of an ingredient! 🙌🏻
Between the pogácsa, the ravioli, and probably a few extra bites, that ricotta really put in some overtime. These little biscuits look like they have a texture somewhere between flaky and fluffy, right? They seem perfect for pairing with a good coffee or even as a snack with… Read more -

First and foremost, I would like to thank you for the 🍪 #cookiechallenge 🍪!!!
I watched all the suggested inspiration and explored other cookie-related courses, which led me to discover SablĂ© 😍.

I’ve always admired the art of chocolate making, and I finally took the plunge—my first batch of milk chocolate truffles is complete! 🎉
Tempering the chocolate was a challenge, but the silky smooth ganache and that satisfying snap made it all worth it. The best part? That first bite—rich, creamy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. 😍

Summer is coming, and the late-winter sunshine fills me with joy for a new beginning. It’s heartwarming to see the first flowers bloom—especially when they’re on the table next to freshly baked potato pogácsa and bites of savory linzer.

What a feast for the eyes! Those pogácsa look absolutely amazing, golden and crispy, I bet they disappear in seconds. 😍
I’m curious, what’s the secret to getting them so perfectly puffed while keeping that crunchy texture? They look like the perfect bite-sized treat for any occasion!

These small savory Linzer cookies were my masterpieces last weekend.
I decorated them with a variety of seeds: black and white sesame, poppy seeds, Parmesan cheese, and cayenne pepper.
They looked super cute before baking.
And even cuter after baking… but the cayenne pepper got dark. 🙁
It didn’t burn, but it lost its beautiful, vibrant red… Read moreView more comments-

Your cookies turned out beautifully, and the decoration with different seeds is original and looks very well done. 😍
Regarding the cayenne pepper, it’s true that vibrant colors can sometimes fade during baking. Perhaps trying a light brush of oil before baking, as you suggested, could help preserve the color, or adding it right after baking… Read more1 - View more comments
