Yesterday, I made ratatouille! 🍅🥰 I sliced tomatoes, zucchini, and eggplants, then prepared a red pepper and tomato sauce. I carefully arranged the vegetable slices in a tray, and after 30 minutes, my 100% veggie dinner was ready. 😊

Yesterday, we organized a Poke party at home. I was looking forward to seeing my daughter’s reaction.
You know, I had never heard of Poke before the #pokechallenge!

This morning, I made this Linzer cake inspired by the French Pastry Techniques course.
It was my first time using pectin, and I was happy with the result.
In this photo, you can see the cake before baking. It looked nice after baking, but… the raspberry filling got darker, and the lattice strips shrank a bit. I guess I need more practice!

It’s normal for the raspberry filling to darken a bit, probably due to the baking time or temperature, as the sugars caramelize more with the heat. To prevent this, you could try baking at a slightly lower temperature and for a bit longer.

I made them with love ❤️ to thank my vet for 17 years of care and support.

Today, I made “just” gnocchi… We had some beautiful pumpkins from the garden, so I baked one and mixed it with some flour. I shaped the gnocchi in a rustic style and fried them with garlic and thyme. To finish, I seasoned them with roasted pine nuts.👨🍳😋
