Christmas has been a bit different this year. I’ve been sick for two weeks, so I couldn’t be as active in the kitchen as I usually am during the holiday season.
I didn’t bake the traditional Christmas cake, and even the menu was less creative than usual.
However, I wanted to make as much as I could, so I made this chocolate yule log as the…

What a lovely gesture, even though you weren’t feeling 100%! That yule log looks spectacular, with the chocolate touch and cherries in the center—it must have been a total hit. Sometimes, it’s the simple details like this that truly create the best family memories. You can tell you put so much love into it!

Seguro que ese tronco estaba espectacular de rico con las nueces tostadas y el chocolate que a mi personalmente me gusta tanto. Espero que estés mejor. Feliz Navidad y ya casi Feliz Año 🤗

First of all, let me tell you how much I enjoy reading your comments in Spanish. 👌😍
You inspire me to refresh my Español, and one day, I might even write about my dishes in Spanish.
Yesterday, I shared a cheesy choux with smoked salmon.
Today, I’m back with a Sicilian choux pastry: Lulù. It’s baked in a babà mold and filled with whipped cream…

What a delight! The combination of the lightly lemon-scented cream and that touch of powdered sugar makes it look perfect for celebrating something special. Plus, the presentation is so elegant and inviting.
Thank you for sharing it with the community.

Ya el nombre de la pasta me enamora: Lulú. Creo que podría comerme uno tras otro de esos conos de nata 😍
Qué bueno además, estés refrescando tu español

#ChristmasMenu
I’ve spent several days reflecting on this challenge. I admired the incredible dishes and definitely wanted to participate, but I faced serious challenges finding the ingredients. Some recipes were fantastic, but I would have had to modify them too much.
In the end, I decided to make the smoked salmon lingots with fresh queso… but…

I love vegetables and regularly dedicate days to eating only veggie-based meals. This evening, I decided to try frying eggplant, something I had never made before. To be honest, I didn’t have high expectations, but the result was absolutely delicious!
First, I baked the eggplant in the oven for 30 minutes. Once it was done, I peeled it, coated it…

Some days, I find myself feeling a bit emotional. 🥰 Those are usually the days when I miss Italy and the Italians around me. 🇮🇹 My brain—and especially my heart—switch to Italian mode, making me more sensitive to anything Italian.
To comfort myself, I have a simple strategy: I cook something Italian. 💚🤍❤️
This evening, these fantastic…

I could say that this tiny cake is just a small treat, but it brought happiness to so many people around me. It’s a chestnut pâté with Parisian cream. I prepared it yesterday for the second time, and it was an absolute winner again.🥰🥰
On the other hand, I’m captivated by the shiny, silky cream that adorned the cake with its elegant curves. It…

Yesterday evening, I wanted to serve something special. I prepared white fish medallions with white wine mayonnaise, grilled zucchini carpaccio drizzled with lemon-infused olive oil, and a Chinese seaweed salad topped with sesame seeds.

I can really feel Christmas in the air.
This is my favorite celery-apple cream soup, topped with sautéed celery dices, honey, and sesame seeds.
And yet, there’s a whole Christmas tree story unfolding around the table… 🎄🚗View more comments-

Hi, my friends! Here are my cinnamon rolls. To be honest, I made these using leftover croissant dough. Since this was the end of the dough roll, there wasn’t as much butter in them, but they still turned out cute and delicious—a great way to use up the “leftover” dough!

No, this isn’t a usual pasta dish with tomato sauce.
This is our very first homemade spaghetti!
We kneaded the semolina dough and tested out our new manual pasta maker.
After two days of drying, we cooked it this evening and served it with a tomato sauce made with tomatoes and basil from our garden.
It was absolutely delicious!

My first attempt at making Tarte Tatin! 🎉
